These Terms of Service govern all web design, hosting, and maintenance services provided by Liftoff Digital ("we," "us," "our") to clients ("you," "the client"). By engaging our services or making a payment, you agree to these terms.
Liftoff Digital provides custom website design, development, hosting, and maintenance services for small businesses. The scope of each project is agreed upon via email prior to work beginning. Any additions to the original scope may result in additional charges.
All website build projects require a 50% deposit ($125) upfront before work begins, with the remaining 50% ($125) due upon project completion before the site goes live. Monthly hosting and maintenance fees are billed at the start of each billing cycle. Failure to pay within 7 days of the due date may result in the site being taken offline until payment is received.
All payments are non-refundable once work has begun on a project.
First month free: Clients who purchase a website build and add a hosting or hosting + maintenance plan will receive their first month of service at no charge. Monthly billing begins at the start of the second month following site delivery.
Build Only clients: Upon receipt of final payment, full ownership of the website code is transferred to the client. Liftoff Digital retains the right to display the work in our portfolio.
Hosting clients: The website remains hosted under Liftoff Digital's infrastructure. If the client wishes to take full ownership and move hosting elsewhere, a one-time transfer fee of $150 applies. Upon payment of the transfer fee and any outstanding balances, the client receives all website files.
Each website build project includes 2 rounds of revisions at no additional charge. A revision round is defined as a consolidated list of changes submitted in a single message. Additional revision rounds beyond the included 2 are billed at $50 per round. Major changes to the agreed-upon scope (new pages, new features, redesigns) are quoted separately.
The client is responsible for providing all content needed to complete the website, including text, images, logos, and any other materials. Liftoff Digital is not responsible for project delays caused by the client's failure to provide content in a timely manner. The client warrants that all content provided does not infringe on any third-party copyrights or trademarks.
Monthly hosting and maintenance plans can be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice via email to LiftoffDigitalWeb@gmail.com. Cancellation requests must come directly from the client email on file and must clearly state the intent to cancel. Cancellations will not be processed without a written email request — verbal requests, social media messages, or other forms of communication are not accepted as valid notice.
Upon cancellation, the website will be taken offline at the end of the current billing period. If the client wishes to continue hosting elsewhere, a one-time transfer fee of $150 applies to receive the website files.
Liftoff Digital aims to deliver completed websites within 1–2 weeks from the date all client content is received. Timelines are estimates and may vary based on project complexity and revision requests. Rush delivery (under 5 business days) is available for an additional fee of 25% of the project total.
Liftoff Digital is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific project or service in question.
By engaging Liftoff Digital's services, the client grants us the right to display the completed website in our portfolio and use it in marketing materials. If you prefer your project remain private, please notify us in writing before the project begins.
